Their high potassium and fiber content aids in digestion and helps protect against stomach ulcers, making them an excellent choice for your baby’s early diet. Additionally, Bananas are packed with essential vitamins such as B6, C, and B2.
In my journey of introducing solid foods to my baby, bananas played a significant role. Their soft texture and natural sweetness made them an instant hit. However, when it came to incorporating them into Banana Sooji Halwa, I found the lack of personal experiences and practical tips in available resources somewhat challenging.

BANANA SOOJI HALWA/ SHEERA/ PUDDING for Babies, Toddlers, Kids & Family

Bananas are “The nature’s perfect foods” because of its high nutritional content. They are beneficial to protect against stomach ulcers and ease out digestion in babies. One of the most important nutritional components of Bananas Potassium and high fiber. Bananas are also high in Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin B2.

Ingredients

  1. Ghee – 1 tsp
  2. Suji – 2 tbsp
  3. Milk/Water – 1 cup
  4. Mashed Banana – 1 or 2

Method

  1. Keep all the ingredients ready. Mash bananas and keep it ready as well
  2. Heat a pan, add ghee followed by Rava/Sooji for the Banana Pudding
  3. Roast Sooji well in the Ghee until you smell a nice aroma. Add water slowly give a mix.
  4. Add Elachi Powder and Kesar, both optional once you see the mixture thickening.
  5. Now add mashed banana and give a quick stir. Our Banana Sheera/ Banana Pudding or Banana Halwa is ready to be served lukewarm.
  6. Additionally, Dry fruits Powder could be added to the Banana Suji halwa while mixing for toddlers and babies. For the older kids, we can add Ghee roasted chopped Dry fruits on top. This serves as garnishing and also adds to the taste.

Method of making Banana Sooji Halwa

1. Keep all the ingredients ready. Mash bananas and keep them ready as well
