Homemade Chocolate Syrup | Hot Choco Fudge Sauce

Ice cream - pancake topping, hot choco fudge sauce for a brownie, to flavor your milk, or eat for no reason. These Homemade Chocolate Syrup make a customizable one for those you love to give foods their personal touch.

Ingredients

1. Cocoa/Chocolate Powder - 1/2 cup

2. Water - 1/2 cup

3. Milk - 1/2 cup (full fat milk)

4. Sugar - 1 cup

5. Brown or Cane Sugar - 1 cup

6. Salt - 1/4 tsp

 7. Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp

Method

1. Take a pan and add Cocoa/Chocolate Powder followed by water. With the help of a whisk mix, it lumps free to form a paste. 

2. Add milk and keep stirring it on medium flame until it comes to a boil

3. As soon as you see bubbles add White Sugar followed by Brown or Cane Sugar. You can use 2 cups of White sugar if you don't have Brown Sugar. There won't be much difference in the taste.

4. Allow the mixture to boil for 4 minutes and keep it aside. Once it is partially cooled and thickens a bit add salt. 

5. Add Vanilla essence and mix it well. 

6. Hot Chocolate Syrup or Hot Choco Fudge Sauce is ready to be served.

Note : 

1. Milk can be replaced with more water if one is Lactose Intolerant or a Vegan

2. In case you don’t have brown sugar replace it with White Sugar.

3. Stays good for 2 months when refrigerated.

4. Increase or decrease the amount of sugar as required. Just go ahead and customize it.
