Ragi Aloo Paratha for Toddlers and Kids
Ragi Aloo Paratha for Toddlers and Kids

Ingredients
- Ragi – 2 ½ cups
- Water – 2 cups
- Salt – As needed
Aloo filling
- Aloo – 5-6 numbers
- Turmeric – ½ tsp
- Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
- Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
- Salt – As needed
- Coriander leaves – Finely Chopped
Method
- Add Water – 2 cups and Salt as needed to a bowling pan and allow to reach a boiling point. Immediately add Ragi – 2 ½ cups to the boiling water and turn off the stove.
- Once set aside take a clean spatula and mix the Ragi mixture for delivering an lump free dough for the Ragi Aloo Paratha. Add 2 tsp of Oil for mixing it evenly and soft. We can kneed it well and set aside for 10 minutes to get it in use. In case its try add a little hot water and mix again for the dough to roll easily.
- Lets prepare for Aloo Filling – 5-6 Boiled potato, Turmeric – ½ tsp, Chilli Powder – ½ tsp, Garam Masala – ¼ tsp, Salt – As needed, Coriander leaves – Finely Chopped add all the ingredients and mix it well. Now Oil your hands and deal with the Ragi Dough delicately for making a small katori and fill the Aloo filling as required and roll the filled dough for the paratha.
- Now make a circular Ragi Aloo Paratha and cook it both side with Oil on a non-stick tava.
- Serve the special Gluten free Ragi Aloo Paratha for the family and toddlers and kids with curds.
Notes
- We can add 1 cup Wheat flour and 1 ½ cup Ragi for the preparation of Ragi Aloo Paratha’s Ragi dough. If you think this is chewy and not easily pliable this helps.
- Avoid Salt when given to babies below 1 year.

Method of making Ragi Aloo Paratha
