Method of making Tomato Soup
1. Take ripened tomatoes washed thoroughly and cut as shown in the picture. It will be easy to remove the skin and deseed when cooked.
2. In a pan, add water and cook the tomatoes for about 10 – 12 minutes. You may notice the tomato turns mushy and the skin is separated a bit.
3. Once cooked, transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool. Remove the skin of the tomatoes.
4. Remove the seeds with the help of the spoon and transfer the tomato pulp to a blender jar and make a fine puree along with water if needed.
5. Take a wide pan, add the puree. Add spices like pepper powder followed by cumin powder. It adds good flavor to the soup and also helps in boosting immunity.
6. Add butter it gives a creamy texture and enhances the taste. Bring the mixture to a boil and continue to cook until it reaches the desired consistency.
7. Transfer to the serving bowl and serve warm.
8. Delicious and tangy Tomato Soup is ready to be served.
