Spiced Carrot Dosa for Babies, Toddlers & Kids

Spiced Carrot Dosa makes for an easy and quick snack box or lunchbox recipe. You will agree with me that it’s a tedious task to chart out kids’ lunchbox or snack box menu. Further tedious is to make it appealing. On my journey of making a variety of Snackbox options once I tried making this and it was a hit. Hence I’m sharing the same with you here. You need very minimal ingredients to make this Spiced Carrot Dosa at home and in a hurry for your kid’s breakfast or to pack to their boxes. This can also be given to babies above 8 months by adjusting the spice and without salt.
The other reason I loved this recipe is that I will now not have to worry about how to add chutney to her box(which would leak..) or what side dish to be made along. This, when cooked with ghee tastes yum and one can relish this as is. Also, the addition of carrots makes it a nutritious and filling breakfast. Spiced Carrot Dosa for Babies, Toddlers & Kids

Ingredients
- Dosa Batter - 1 cup
- Carrot - 2 grated
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Green Chilli - 2
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Salt - as needed
Method
- Take a thick bottom pan and add grated Carrot, grated Ginger, finely chopped green chilli and oil.
- Fry all the ingredients on a low flame for about 2 minutes. Cool and transfer to a blender jar.
- Add little water and make a fine puree and keep aside. Take 1 cup of dosa batter in another bowl.
- Mix in the pureed carrot mixture to dosa batter. Add in a little salt for kids above 1 year.
- Heat tava and spread dosa batter as needed. 6. Flip and cook both the sides.
- Spiced Carrot Dosa is ready to be served.

Method of making Spiced Carrot Dosa
Take a thick bottom pan and add grated Carrot, grated Ginger, finely chopped green chili, and oil.

2. Fry all the ingredients on a low flame for about 2 minutes. Cool and transfer to a blender jar.

3. Now add little water and make a fine puree and keep aside. Take 1 cup of dosa batter in another bowl.

4. Mix in the pureed carrot mixture to dosa batter. Add in a little salt for kids above 1 year. 
5. Heat tava and spread dosa batter as needed.
6. Flip and cook both sides. 
7. Spiced Carrot Dosa is ready to be served.
