Whole grapes are a choking risk as they are of the size of baby or kids throats and hence until 4 years of age it is advised to offer Grapes cut in this way. Ensure your child is sitting while eating this slippery fruit, grapes always. Remember if you are following baby-led weaning your child will be able to chew on it easily but otherwise, you would have to continue to puree it as long as your child is not ready to eat on his own. Generally at 4 years of age kids can have whole grapes but some kids may be ready for it is prior.
