BARLEY APPLE PORRIDGE for Babies, Toddlers & Kids

Ingredients
- Barley - 1/4 cup soaked
- Apple - 1/2 cup
- Cinnamon Powder - A pinch
Method
- Add Oil - 2 tsp and soaked 1/4 cup Barley to it, give a quick stir and add the Apple pieces.
- Now add 2 cups water and a pinch of Cinnamon powder and pressure cook it for one whistle.
- Once its cooled down and settled, blend it with a hand blender and its ready to serve.
- Serve it to the toddlers 8 months + its highly nutritious and tasty

Method of making Barley Apple Porridge :
1. Add Oil – 2 tsp and soak 1/4 cup Barley to it, give a quick stir and add the Apple pieces.
2. Now add 2 cups of water and a pinch of Cinnamon powder and pressure cook it for one whistle.
3. Once it’s cooled down and settled, blend it with a hand blender, and it’s ready to serve.
4. Serve it to the toddlers 8 months + it’s highly nutritious and tasty.

Note
• Cinnamon can be replaced with Cardamom powder, cumin powder and a flavor of Saffron strands could be added as well.
• Dry Fruits Powder, Nuts powder, or Dry Dates powder could be added to enrich the taste naturally.
• Apple could be replaced with any other fruits, keeping in mind the boiling process.
• Please consult a pediatrician before introducing any new food to the baby.
• If there is a family history of gluten allergy or celiac disease you may have to carefully introduce barley to babies
