Soya Chunks are easy to cook and hence today I’m sharing one such protein-rich recipe for babies, toddlers, and kids Soya Chunks Fry.

Soya is the best source of proteins for a vegetarian meal plan. Soya Chunks / Soya Meat / Nuggets is a good replacement for meat. Nutrela is the best selling soya food brands in India. Soy meat or soya chunks or nuggets is a defatted by-product of extracting soybean oil. Today’s Soya Chunks Fry / Nutrela Chunks Fry is a dish that is not only tasty but also provides the required proteins. Make the best finger food, snack box, or evening snacks for the little eaters. Also relished with chapati, rice, or any other Indian bread by adults. Can be given to 8 months + babies.

SOYA CHUNKS FRY for babies, toddlers and kids

Ingredients
- Soya Chunks soaked - 20 chopped
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 1 thin sliced
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Sambar Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - as needed
- Water - 1/4 cup
Method
- Soak the soya chunks in water for about 2 hours. And squeeze out the excess water and keep aside.
- Take oil in a pan and heat it. Add onion and allow it to turn brown.
- Add soya chunks followed by turmeric powder, garam masala, sambar powder, pepper powder and salt and mix all the ingredients.
- Immediately add water and cook on low flame for 8 minutes with by covering the pan with a lid.
- Open the lid & stir fry for few minutes. Add coriander and serve hot.
- Soya Chunks Fry is ready to be served.

Method :
1. Soak the soya chunks in water for about 2 hours. And squeeze out the excess water and keep it aside.

2. Take oil in a pan and heat it. Add onion and allow it to turn brown.

3. Add soya chunks followed by turmeric powder, garam masala, sambar powder, pepper powder and salt and mix all the ingredients.

4. Immediately add water and cook on low flame for 8 minutes with by covering the pan with a lid.

5. Open the lid & stir fry for few minutes. Add coriander and serve hot.

6. Soya Chunks Fry is ready to be served.
