Method
- Add Oil - 2 tps, Onion-3 chopped nicely and fry it to get soft and golden brown
Now to a pressure cooker add 1 tps Oil and 4-5 curry leaves and mix it cook well. - To this add 4-5 hours Soaked Black Chickpea-2 cups, Potato-2 numbers chopped, tomato-2 numbers, Carrot-1 chopped and Brinjal-2 numbers chopped.
- For the grinding ingredients add Coconut- 1/2 grated, Ginger-1 inch, Garlic-8 cloves, Cinnamon-1 inch stick, Chilly powder-1/2 tsp, Coriander powder-1 t tbsp and grind it well. If necessary little water can be added.
- Add the grinded mixer ingredients into the cooker, hot Water about 2-3 cups, mix it well for 15 minutes till the blending is done and pressure cook it to 3 or 4 whistles.
- Once four whistle are done its ready to serve.
- Black Chickpea Curry/ Gravys is ready to serve with Rice, Millet, Dosas and Idly variety.
