Pearl Millet Porridge for Babies and Toddlers – Sweet & Savory

Pearl Millet or Bajra is a wonder grain rich in Iron, Gluten-free, heart-healthy, and least allergenic. It’s well-advised for anemic kids and here I shall be showing a simple way of making the Bajra Porridge Mix and two ways you can cook them.
This can be given to babies above 8 months. I’m showing you the savory and sweet version of this porridge here today. For the sweet version I’m adding Natural Dates Powder to sweeten it up and for the savory version, I’m adding cumin powder and pepper powder. You can use jaggery or other spices as needed.
Millets are the most favorite foods for millennials as these are local superfoods and cheap too. They are naturally organic as most of them do not need pesticides to be safe and consume less water to be grown. It is hence ideal to include them in baby and kid’s food too.
