Vegetable Dal Soup for Babies, Toddlers, and Kids
VEGETABLE & DAL SOUP for Toddlers, Kids & Family

Ingredients
- Moong Dal – 2 tbsp
- Green Peas – ¼ cup
- French Beans – 10 numbers
- Carrot – ½
- Onion – ½
- Tomato – 1
- Black Pepper – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
- Salt – To taste
- Water – 1 1/2 cup
- Ghee- 1 tsp
Method
- Take a pressure pan and add ghee. And when ghee is well heated add jeera / cumin.
- Add finely chopped onion, and mix them well and fry for 2 minutes
- Add all the vegetables as mentioned in the recipe box, including peas, beans, potato, tomato. Mix well for another minute.
- Add pepper and turmeric powder. Add salt for babies above 1 year.
- Mix all the ingredients and then add rinsed Moongdal.
- Add Water as needed and close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.
- Once cooled open the pressure cooker to check the readiness of soup. This well cooked soup can be served as is or with the help of a hand blender make a fine puree. Serve the soup hot for your babies, kids or family.
