- Dairy – Curd/yogurt, paneer/ cottage cheese, tofu
- Spices: Turmeric, garlic, ginger, asafetida, cumin seeds, pepper, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, caroms, fenugreek, mustard seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom (all can be added in little amount say a pinch)
